I'm Back!

Wah. My very last entry was on February 2, 2011, its like centuries ago. lol So anyway, I'm back...hopefully for good.

my dad closed his almost 40 year old business-- he started running it at age 18, and as far as I know he's still on the stage of adjusting his new life. That also leaves me having more time at home...

now I can actually focus my attention to:

+ teaching Cholo how to read (faster), write (faster and legibly), math (basic of course)

+ to diet, religiously applying aloe vera to scalp lol

+ to learn new things...oh I'm trying to learn Hangul all by myself. lol funny coz i can read and write (oh so slowly) but i have no clue what that character means.

I started watching Queen of Housewives and I am in episode 8 already, i like the story--maybe because im already ahjumma myself, lol. but anyway, im so into watching series and movies now--this first 3 months i already watched:

I think it was the other day or two days ago when my my husband told me that he saw a group of bats flying and it was afternoon, it was like they were migrating or something. he then said that its like a bad omen or something bad would happen, since animals are sensitive to those stuff.

Oh my. I couldn't stop myself from thinking about what the Bible says that before Jesus Christ's second coming wars, natural calamities, famine and such would break out...i am hoping that what is happening now isn't what i fear it is. coz i am definitely not ready yet.

how are you this rainy Wednesday morning?

yes, its raining here in our city and the business isn't that great which totally sucks, right? i am now at my dad's store and i'm just thankful that he doesn't get mad when he sees me in front of my laptop, or doing business inside his store/office...and now i'm starting to be busy looking for suppliers since i plan to open an online shop and my first product to sell is Apad or Android Pad. Should I turn my Teri Unnie Facebook account into an Online Shop or create a new one? what you think?

i'm really, really trying hard not to entertain the thought of pulling this plug (again?!) the 2nd time since i don't have much time on my hands with all the things that i wanted to do like i promised last year to finish one Tagalog story so i can send it to one of the publishing company, earn money, and now i have to include in my list to do is helping my dad to watch the business.

anyway, for now this is it and i pray that this year would be a fruitful and a good one just like 2010 to me. ^^

First Entry for 2011

Hi! So this is my very first entry for the year 2011. I haven't updated this site and yes even though i did say i will few months back it seems its impossible.

first, the internet connection is really crappy.
second, its really embarrassing to open my laptop at my dad's store--like what im doing today...you can't blame me...im so bored!
third, blame it on Cityville! lol

last month was the most tiring month ever! my dad's store transferred coincide with our house transfer. and unlike where we used to stay which every shop is just so near...this time our house is like literally on top of the mountain and its so far from the town or from the nearest market or store! sigh!

what else? oh i had my laptop skin customized. its 200 Philippine Peso, but it was discounted down to 180 Philippine Peso. ^^ I designed and all he did was to print it out.

i know it should be one of my fave guys, right? but choosing only one feels like i was betraying others...so i chose Lee Hyori since she's my all time K-pop female artist. lol

anyway, im planning to change my site look(again!) and no, i wont turn this back again into a requesting site since there are many requesting sites already. hihi.

so before ending i would like to share the wallies i made last year. ^^

How was 2010 for you?

I can still vividly remember how grateful I was while bidding 2009 goodbye, and though I was apprehensive on coming 2010 , I still opened my arms and welcomed it.

Only few days left before I can officially kiss 2010 goodbye, and while doing so I have to admit the ride I had was roller coaster.

January I rushed Derek to the hospital due to constant vomiting, diarrhea, and no appetite.

March or was it April when my dad was struck with Bell's Palsy and considered to be my darkest month, since I was so afraid coz I thought he was going to get stroke.

April was when my 2 sisters from Dubai spent their short but meaningful vacation with us.

May was when I decided to follow my husband to his area.

I packed our things and moved to Liloy on June and Cholo started his school there.

On July was when I finally found a way to earn my own income.

My husband received a notice that he will be transferring to Zamboanga on August.

September I started working at my dad's store, and found out about the problem he faced through all these years.

October was when my father started focusing on looking for a vacant space to move our store in, since the owner of the building was going to use it...at the same time, my brother-in-law was also looking for a new house for the whole Magtuloy--including myself, to move in as well.

I was hospitalize for 5 dyas due to Dengue on November.

December came and so was my college best friend...also was tiring for me, since it was moving day both for the store and house.

In totality I thank God for the great 2010. My prayers have been answered:

.earn own income

.be with my husband

.own house

For the year 2011 I pray that God:

.will help my dad can overcome all the problems

.will bless financially my dad's business

.will also bless financially my mom's catering business

.will continue protect my kids from harm and sickness

.will protect my marriage from marital problems that might arise

My wish for the year 2011:

.learn to drive and have own vehicle (i need it since i have to boys to bring to school, and our house is soooo far away--its like we're in the mountains. aiyo!)

.vacation with my husband with no kids...we haven't experience honeymoon when we got married. huhu!

.to finish one Tagalog story and courageously submit it...and approved! ^^

hi, kids! i'm in a mood yeah? lol today is Saturday and technically fourth-no lunch-day...i try to cut down my rice intake which i think will play a big role for me to slim down. Yes, for a rice and meat eating machine as myself this is definitely a huge thing for me.

Since I'm into Sungkyunkwan Scandal now its expected that I changed my Daniel Henney layout to Yoochun one. lol will I be posting it here? hmmm....I spent the whole hour making Yoochun icons and one wallie. But because I want to save Yoochun for last(again, am I being biased?), I'm going to upload Yoo Ah In's icons first. i think I'm having hots for him now. aigoo! me and my pervy brain again...

But I must admit that whenever he smiles at SKKS my heart literally melts and guilty at the same time coz I was supposed to be cheering for Yoochun's character for Yoon Hee, but whenever I see him smile or how he takes care of Yoon Hee, my knees went jelly nd all. Hi! I was about to update this site yesterday, but something came up and so I end up updating today.lol.

It's been weeks since i last updated this blog. i think i mentioned from my last entry that i am currently "working" at my dad's store and yes, even though i have my own table and this lappy to accompany me, but the whole thing just kill the mood of me updating.

So what's new eh? Since Smartbro totally sucks (duh?! What's new?!), so I just use it to download movies since streaming and browsing seems to make me want to scream with anger with its turtle slow connection. Since downloading using torrent i can just leave it overnight...speaking of download, i downloaded the whole series 4 of Bones and watched it (i first watched season 5), same goes for My Girlfriend is a Gumiho (love lo love this series!)...

I first downloaded Playful Kiss and watched the first episode when I had to stop and instead download SungKyunKwan Scandal and tried playing the first ep...trust me, I like SKK Scandal better than PK. Am I being biased since I'm Yoochun fan since 2008? No, I'm not. I just started watching the other night and if I finished downloading it I should have completed the series already lol. I like the series! Yoochun fans are sure proud that he pulled his role off. ^^ Do I have to mention that I like the remaining guys (Jae Shin and Yong Ha,)too?

These are the treat for SNSD fans.

Oh, I also made banners for my current fave series. SungKyunKwan Scandal and My girlfriend is a Gumiho.

Life is so short..

Yesterday I received an email from Shinhwa Philippines saying that Ate Mari passed away.

I was totally shock.

To say that we haven't met in person yet was totally expecting since we are separated by at leas more than 2hours plane ride from each other...but its unexpected that I can still feel her warmth personality and I totally see her as older sister or Ate.

When we chat, we don't usually talk about Shinhwa or Eric(since we both are in love with), but we usually talks about life, about how our ordinary lives...being a mother and wife...

Thinking about our random chats makes me want to cry because I know that I would surely miss it.

thank you for being a blessing not only to me but to all the lives you've touched.

...and i'm sure that Baby Alex went with you because she knows you are going to be sad with no one to take care of.

New Layout for FP's 2nd Anniversary!

2 more days and Feisty Princess is celebrating its 2nd Year! ^^ 2 years is really fast. I didn't expect that FP will actually will still be alive. With my being too easily being distracted with other things, easily get discouraged, and of course...again I easily get distracted. lol I remember I started this site just a few months after I learned how to Photoshop and working with Good Girls as a graphic designer. I can still remember the very first request I received was Banner and I had no clue what banner is or what size.

Anyway, I did change the theme of my site which was A Requesting Site to a Graphic Freebie Site, so I won't be obligated to finish requests.

2 years...I've been thinking if FP already marked its name in FanFic/Graphic Community. I know that I new sites are more famous than this and hello, I'm just human too...I sometimes get jealous, but at the end of the day, I realized that the reason that FP isn't that known because I don't go around my affies and leave messages on their spambox. lol Blame it on my being lazy and all...

By the way, graphics are updated. ^^

Preparing for Feisty Princess' 2nd Anniversary

Time flies really fast eh? I felt it was just yesterday when I decided to put up Feisty Princess...The original name was supposed to be Fiery Princess, but I changed it to Feisty. It was funny that I opened a requesting site when I was just a noob graphic designer who had no clue how to do banner, wallpaper, and icons...since my experience was only poster making, I have to remind you that it wasn't that great either. Through Feisty Princess I began to expand my network, some of my staff end up being my friends, same goes with affies and requesters...Through Feisty Princess, I realized that I can still learn new things...I learn that I am in fact can be creative.

Anyway, in preparation of Feisty Princess 2nd Anniversary I am preparing new sets of icons, banners, and wallpapers that I hope will be the perfect gift to visitors. ^^

why do i feel that the day is kinda shorter? sigh. or maybe because i spend half day outside the house. then the remaining time i spend checking FB, mails, and stuff, but most of the time i end up checking my mails and FB through my mobile phone since i am lazy turning my laptop on.

what else? oh Dorkistic Design's FB started its 5th Round of Graphic Challenge and this time previous winner Joanne had the honor to state what theme...and this time it's a Movie Themed Graphic.

My entries didn't feature any K-Celeb instead I used our local celebrity and my favorite Anne Curtis. I know that I wouldn't stand a chance since she's not well-known unlike K-Celebs featured by other graphic artists.So if you think my works are good enough please go to Dorkistic Page and vote for my entries okay? ^^

What else? Oh did you watch Charice Pempengco's 3rd visit in Star King? I was like totally blown away with her performance. I must admit that she doesn't impress me that much maybe because i know that many Filipino singers are better than her(hope Charice's fans won't bash me for it). Anyway, I was really excited watching her return since I watched her 1st two visits. And boy, she outdid her last performance. What stayed on my head was when Luna commented that if David Foster will hear her sing maybe he will offer to give her a song(or something like that). So she sang.

I think Luna was trying to be on the spotlight(which i can't blame her) that's why she said those words. Unfortunately what she did backfired. She simply sang the song, I mean if YOU were David Foster are you going to be impressed? Will Oprah be impressed?

Luna has a voice and she should have given her best.

While watching I was hoping that Gummy should be there. Or maybe TaeYeon. ^^

The Results are OUT!

First of all I would like to congratulate Joanna for winning the fourth round of DD's Challenge in FB. She totally deserves it! Also to Chazz who I knew was suppose to win but due to some rules about her being the winner of last challenge, so she is exempted in being the first place. So that makes me the 2nd Placer (technically i should have been the 3rd). So with this I would like to thank everybody who voted not only for me but to all the entries. I'm thinking if I will join the next round. hmmm...

What else? Oh, I just finished watching Personal Preference and boy, oh, boy! I lurve Lee Minho!!!! I did mention that among the F4 guys I love him the most, right? I like guy characters who can stand up for you, who have this I-will-take-take-care-of-you vibe, the dark in shining armor type. sigh. Anyway, with this I made two Lee Minho wallpapers.

Coffee, Notebook, MP3, & Laundry...

As I was having my coffee I couldn't help but to be reminded on the things I am using everyday. They are the things or my best friend for completing my daily chores.

I couldn't start the morning without sipping coffee. Yes, I can skip bread or full breakfast, but not coffee. No, I am not coffee drinker. I only drink coffee once a day. Since my Brazilian Slimming coffee is totally out of stock, I switch back to Nescafe with Milk. No, I don't partner my coffee with cream, though I wish I can, but I don't want to add cream in the list of grocery since we should be budgeting with my hubby's salary. keke.

These are the things that should be present when I am in my web world. My Acer notebook who thank god is still coping up with my constant tapping on the keyboard. My Yoochun mouse must be present so I can look at it whenever I like(thanks Twinnie!), then I couldn't work without my mouse, it's really useful especially if I'm doing graphics. Then my 5 year old diary/journal who sticks with me for all these years. My newly bought Nokia phones (I used the other one to take this picture). Just the other day, I finally get to know my lappie, there are applications that definitely suits my needs. There's this application in MS Word that acts like a diary or journal!

So my password protected diary entry was move there again with password, I don't want my husband or anybody reading it.Yes, since I move here I am turning into emo. And i don't want to tell whatever I felt to my family or friends, so I just type it all down. Its really really helpful for me.

Of course, I can't forget my 4 year old pink Creative Zen MP3 that I play while doing EVERYTHING. I think I can't move or do without listening to music. I think I have to update the playlist though. lol.

I just connect it to a player so I don't need to wear my earphones. And yes, my boys are used to me playing loud especially my currently fave Chavacano song "Porque".

If there's one thing that is surprising is the fact that how easily I learned about how hand wash all the clothes. Yes, we don't own washing machine, people. Aside from the fact that it would be added financial burden, we don't have extra space to slip that in, besides, I think I can handle the dirty clothes. I do think that our neighbors was wondering why do we always have clothes hanging out when there's only four of us. I think I'm a better washer than our household help, yes, before I always nag the household help because I can still see the dirt on the clothes or why it doesn't smell like it has been washed. Unlike them, I always check before I let it hang and I smell it after it has been dried.

Sigh. it's already 10:45am here and I am going to prepare lunch now. ^^

New Layout!!!

My last post was last May 1st, its more than a month! Dang! I didn't noticed that it was that long. Since I transferred here in the small municipality of Liloy, I wasn't able to check this site or even visit my affies because of the sucky internet connection.

I was really devastated that my money's not worth of paying the monthly internet bill, but then I, fortunately, was able to convince my auntie to just take the plug-it with her to Manila and just used it. Oh boy, I am glad to take it off my hands. Might be wondering what i am using right this minute, right? I am taking chance to try the competitor's plug-it. So far, I love it. Totally proven me that I was wrong all along--yes, i kept saying that Smart is better than Globe, but well...for now Globe is definitely better. lol

At last I already changed the layout of this site. I have to credit the iilovesponge-bob for the base code, I changed the images to fit in to Feisty Princess "bod".

Oh, guess what? I am trying to brushing my graphic designing skills after being in hiatus for centuries. lol I haven't been doing requests and I'm sure that my designs may look noob.

Before ending i would like to post the banners I just did few minutes ago. Yes, everyone who knew me can attest how Korean series junkie I am. Fanfic Trailer of Joon-Dara

Hi there! After 2 days of making the trailer of my fanfic I just uploaded it in my youtube account. I am excited of how it turned out. I haven't been making videos and since my Jaybum Fanvid project(blame it on the moviemaker of our home pc). I am so excited to inform that I already sold my Pink notebook and bought a better unit with bigger storage lol. Its Acer Aspire One, this is the cheapest notebook in the display where we bought this. I was mulling over whether to choose this or Asus 1000he(they have the same price by the way)...but in the end I chose Acer because we have Acer service center here in our place.

I changed my desktop wallie from Lee Joon, to Hyori, then this morning its Eric Mun. lol. And yeah, I am currently writing the new chap of Diary/Confession, since i am inspired.^^

I can continue do Photoshop and after months of no practice the first few sets of posters I made for myself are these:

Bad Day!

Yesterday was a bad day for me, first my Photoshop installer disc wasn't in the case where I thought it was. Then all 3 chaps of my Kingka fic was also got deleted(not by me ofcourse!) so that means I have to redo my chaps 7-9 which I don't know when can that be. UGH!

So anyway, because of the absence of my Photoshop I decided to visit Blogskins(since DD is in hiatus) and look around. I love the works of ilovemj I used one of her work in my xoxo Teri site. But anyway, I ended up loving the wallpaper/blogskin freebie from DD and used it. I did change the format layout to fit all in.^^

Wow! Last entry was Easter Sunday, right? Sorry, many things been keeping me busy...since my younger sister spend her 2 week vacation here, bringing with her her foreigner bf. I think he got the hearts of everybody. I am happy that my younger sister finally met her match. I hope and pray that they will step another notch of their relationship soon.

The Lord Has Risen!

Growing up in Christian home, it is indeed expected for us to know the Bible...if its possible we have to memorize verses aside from the John 3:16. Anyway, so part of it was/is attending the Sunrise service at 4am in our church every Easter Sunday(hope my mama won't read this. I forgot what term to use and not Easter.), well, I didn't attend the Sunrise service yesterday (the 2nd time since I got married) coz I woke up at 7, plus my whole family--mother, father, ad 2 younger brothers, are in vacation or reunion with our our relatives in Davao. You might be wondering why I and my kids are left behind, there's should be someone who should open the store--duh?!

So what did I do yesterday?

Breakfast , Captchas and Pink--

Hmmm...my life is boring so as usual I wake up at 7am, prepared Derek's breakfast--coco crunch and milk, drank my coffee with bread and egg. After everything I headed straight to the computer and started typing caps. All the while I have a notebook/laptop in my head. Atleast I am more enthusiastic this time coz I found out a local store that accepts Paypal payments. lol

Since I started going to the store everything went in a halt--my typing, my PTC-ing, my blogging, chatting with friends(shotout to Eunice and Chazz!)...so when I bought a 2nd hand notebook, though its really regretful decision, I slowly getting the hang of this. I still believe that she actually deceived me with the ad she posted. (I have her picture here in the computer, I even had all the networking sites she's in...since I sorta researched about her before buying this one...I don't want to be scammed.)

Anyway, I must admit that Pink is actually helpful, coz last Saturday, while I was tending the store...I was able to finish 3 chaps in Kingka Gay Roommate (LeeJoon & Dara fic) and also 2 chaps of Confession of an ex Stalker Fan (DaraGon fic). Also since the pc at our home got crashed I used Pink to surf and also to send in my latest chaps to Authspot and Soompi.

I am actually excited about today though, coz I'll be picking up my Plug-It Unlimited Kit, that means I can surf the net 24/7 without loading. Just imagine that since I got Pink I already spent P1000 for the internet load! God! So I decided to apply for Smart Bro Plug-It Unlimited (am I actually advertising here?) so I can surf all day long. Eunice twinnie, here I come! keke.

I also am going to bring home our cpu from the computer shop and hopefully its been scanned and all. What else? Oh, my family are coming home from their vacation with my younger sister and her South African boyfriend(he's not black I think its weird to even stereotyping that all people from Africa are black when half of the population are white). She reminded us over and over and over through chat to NEVER brought up the issue of marriage or her bf will pack his bag and leave her.I told her not to worry, coz I am sure that my mouth is shut close the whole time, I am not that confident to converse in English. I am sure by now you know the reason why. lol

I have to go for now, peeps. I have a store to open and i didn't taken a bath yet.

hi, girls! i just realized that my notebook has the same color as my mp3--its pink, baby! I have no clue what notebook the seller would be sending to me until i opened the box this morning...its Asus EEE 700. I must admit that my excitement got crushed when i started typing and yeah with my money i dont think its worth. i did ask the seller about the memory and she said its 8G, all the while i thought she meant the harddisk size, but its the extendacered memory she meant by it. so stupid me.

Anyway, original plan is still active--i will continue to save to buy a brand new Acer, and with a longer patience and effort this time. Maybe in due time i can get used to type using the mini keyboard and hopefully i can continue writing my stories, i dont think i can type caps using this notebook.

If everything went on as what I hope it would be, then I am going to have a new "baby" tomorrow! Whoopee! Yes, I just couldn't wait my hubby to buy me a lappie since I badly need it asap. lol so I searched the net and found a 2nd hand Asus Pink EEE.

That means I can continue writing stories, type captchas, and yeah hopefully I can use the netbook to earn some cash in our store. Yes, since my dad is still resting I am helping my mom tending the store. I love my dad, but I can't stay in one room with him (awkward!) lol. Anyway, I hope my hubby won't kill me coz he wants me to buy Acer (but I have no money) and I don't think I can wait for 6 months before I can buy one right?

What else? Oh, yeah Derek's appetite is getting better! Woot! Woot! Tomorrow is Thursday and I hope it is a great one. ^^

Just Got Home from the Hospital

Hi there! As of this writing my head spins like crazy and yeah as what the title of my post--I just got home from the hospital, Derek actually was admitted due to potential dehydration. I just had a nice long shower and excited to sleep in my own bed with my 2 boys--err, 3 when my hubby arrives at 2am.

So what happened to my youngest son Derek? I have to blame the weather (Philippines is experiencing El Nino) and since we are here in Mindanao (Zamboanga City to be exact), power shortage is totally the "in" thing right now. We suffer at least trice blackouts within the day, every single day, and aside from the hassle it brings to every household business is greatly affected as well.

Back to Derek, he was totally down by diarrhea and no appetite and so from 12 kilos he shrunk down to 8 kilos after 2 days. His lab results are okay. It was on Thursday(the other day) night when I decided to have him confined coz he is in potential risk of dehydration. So that's it.

I received post Valentines Gift from my twinnie from Singapore (funny, coz I am almost ten years older than her and we call each other twinnie.) I am so happy coz its three cute notebooks from Korea. I doubt if I'm going to use it, coz its too cute to just write down. Thanks, twinnie. ^^

I Don't Care

Scared.

It was ordinary Wednesday(March 3) morning when me and my mom noticed something's wrong with his face. First thing came to my head was--my dad was heading to a stroke! But I don't want to scare both my parents and so I hurriedly opened the pc and researched about the symptoms. On that same day we urged him to have a checkup coz just to make sure. Knowing him to be so hard-headed, he didn't heed our advise, he kept on saying that he have many checks to take care of and other things, going to the doctor would be the least of his priority at the moment.So typical of him.

My mom then was already crying, urging him that they have to go to the doctor while I take care of the store (my dad runs an upholstery business). It was 3pm when all the things he was suppose to do were completed and said that all he need was a good rest so he went home.

The following day, his face worsen. The right side of his face was/is drooping, his right eye was/is half close and his mouth--oh man, in short, my heart cried coz my dad looks different. Maybe seeing his face scared the sh.it out of him and so he agreed in having himself checked.

While he and my mom were out I was task to take care of the store and it's hard. I kept on tearing up, I was totally scared, well actually its more than scared, I couldn't look for better word to describe what was happening to me. My insides were shaking. My hands were trembling. Every move I make tears me up. His friends called up and looks for him, and I have no choice but to inform them about his situation, and how much I tried not to cry I can't. I texted his sister(my fave aunt) and told her about him and when she called I couldn't talk with my tears, with my voice...and she got scared.

It was already night time when I went to visit my dad after closing the store, it was then they told me that it is Bell's Palsy, I let out a sigh of relieved. It wasn't what I thought it was.

My dad is a typical Chinese guy whose father came straight from China. He's known to be a huge guy in our family, in our church, to his friends. I must admit that in my younger years I do not like him. He's too strict, seems like the only word he know was "NO." He used to hit us, he even put me inside the rice sack and hanged on our tree at the back of our house. My childhood memory of him was --ugh!

I think years caught us both, he mellowed as I became a little understanding. I must admit that until this very moment I still believed that he does play favorites and I am not the lucky kid but my younger sisters, but I don't care right this very minute. What I care is for him to have a longer life.

I don't care if I am not his favorite as long as he is here with us.

How are you? I know I have been a bad webmommy, didn't update this site for centuries, no posts whatsoever. Well, aside from my ongoing typing caps, managing people in typing caps, I also open a little gift shoppe here in our city. I really wish I have laptop or notebook s I can still work in typing caps and do all my responsibilities while tending the shoppe, right? Anyway, aside from the stocks I bought I also displayed what I personally did, like cellphone charms/accessories, bracelets, and now rings.

The first picture is my Love ring and money & love bracelet I made.

The second picture is Ruby ring which is symbol of love and friendship.

The third picture is Citrine bracelet which is said to be lucky stone.

Gloomy Monday Morning

I'm not Garfield who hates Monday. lol But I woke up a little late (745am) because the four of us--my hubby and out two kids, slept late last night (almost 2 am) after watching Ethan Hawke's DayBreaker. When the alarm broke out at 5am I thought it was only 2am, I kicked my husband to turned off the alarm and said, you can ride the 6 am bus since he usually ride the 2am bus. (as of this time he's still in the bus) and he said yes. So I said come back to sleep and he replied, its past 5 already.

By the way, how's your Valentines Day peeps? Mine was okay I guess...nothing special though since we only went to the grocery to buy what my kids need (like diapers, milk and some toiletries), just took a short bite in McDonald (ugh! I like Jollibee's spaghetti hundred times more!), and driving around.

I think this year my family is a little interested if this Metal Tiger is our year or not. My mom plans to open up a business and wants to partner with me--she said I am lucky this year. lol anyway, I hope that this year is indeed lucky for me. But we must rest our trust in God that he's in control of everything, right?

I decided to change the Feisty Princess Show into FEISTY PRINCESS POPULARITY CONTEST. Well, I've been having a hard time naming this contest since Round 1 haha! then as the contest is running I realized that if there's audience participation then obviously it means popular sites or story or graphic designer or trailer maker garnered more votes than the others. I know it sucks right? But on the other hand it serves as a challenge to lesser voters sites to work hard to be on the same status of the other sites who more or less a little known with requesters, affiliates, visitors to work hard. They can't be number 1 by doing nothing, right? That means, they worked they assess off to be where they are now.

Anyway, I did change the mechanics and so please do visit Bailey and click on Mechanics for the new schedule.

How do you like my layout? Well, I don't know what get into me and I decided to have all my sites sport the same color(light pink). Anyway, I featured Anne Curtis which is our local celebrity...I think the only female celebrity I like. She's pretty with a beautiful heart. That's the reason she's so likable by both her co-actors, peers, and people around her. This is the 2nd time I featured her...the first time was FP's very first layout and that was Sept 25 2008. I think its suitable for her to grace Feisty Princess new format.

Well...wel...well...

Before anything else I would like to congratulate the winners: DORKISTIC DESIGNS (Best Site of the Week), RIVER FLOWS IN YOU (Best Fanfic of the Week), ANNA (Best Graphic Designer of the Week), and STUPIDITY (Best Trailer of the Week). I will try to make a video and I hope I can finish it before the next round.

This round's total votes has reached 2,301...compared to the previous round the number has lowered down, many reasons why...one, I put a limitation of voting per category per day. two, I haven't been advertising this contest in Winglin like I did on my first and 2nd round. last, I think because the school just started so people have no time visiting this site and cast their votes. But anyway, I still am happy with the success of this contest. ^^

What else? Oh! now the heart of this entry...I did mention the last time that I am going to reformat this site and I did. I turned Feisty Princess Requesting Site to a Site of Goodies. Meaning, I wouldn't be accepting any requests. Me and my fellow Princesses will just have to fill this site with any graphics, may it be a set of banners, a group of icons, wallpapers, or maybe even layout. I am inspired by Komettails, which is the very first site I fell in love (way before I met Chazz of Dorkistic ) before Feisty Princess lol.

My online job is taking most of my time and I don't want to be pressured in running this site, all webmissies knows that running means, advertising(which I don't), checking requests, sending out requests to respective GD and Reviewers(crossing fingers that they can finish the task on time), sending out notifications to requesters(hoping they would follow the rules), updating the site. Doing the things mentioned above is really time consuming not to mention nail biting.

Then most of my Princesses or not all are running their own sites aside from the fact that they are also connected with other requesting sites, do I have to mention that they are also in juggling with their studies? That's the reason why I am reeeaally lenient about them finishing the requests.

And this is also the reason why I reformatted this site. Because I want to take the load off their shoulders as much as mine.

So what's in store for my visitors then?

>The Feisty Princess Countdown will still remain which showcase the Best of the Best by nomination and voting. Instead of Weekly...it would only be Every Other Week. (next week will be no FPC)

Feisty Princess Reformat

First of all how are you, guys? It's been days since I last posted my entry. Many things are eating up my time and even though I wanted so much to juggle them all flawlessly I think I'm starting to get things out of control. Aside from running my three sites which are Hyori's Bench, Just Great, and this one...I also have fics that I need to update especially in Triond which is where I earn a little (so I need your support and please do visit and read my fics and one shots if you have time), I also have the typing captcha which is ,yeah, taking 90% of my online time. Because of the things mentioned I decided to reformat this site.

So I will put this site on hiatus from January 15 which the voting ends and will resume hopefully after a day or two with the results and hopefully (keeping my fingers crossed) with the video.

Now lets proceed to the FP SHow...the partial results are as follows:

As expected in the Site category, Dorkistic Designs garnered 255votes, followed by Lost Shadows with 194 votes, then Fanfictional Forum.

As for the Graphic Designers, Newbie Cutterpillow running away with 170 votes, running closely behind her is Anna with 156votes, then Bobolious with 38votes.

For Fanfctions, River Flows in You is currently on top with 50 votes, Fabric Magic with 36 votes, and Momentum in the third spot with 8votes.

Lastly, the Trailer Maker winner will grace the video at the end of this contest...so far the leading Trailer maker is Teppi with 13 votes, followed by Stupidity and Shadow's Chaos with 9 votes each, for the third spot lildragongurl shares with Rana with 1 point each.

You noticed that the partial total votes are lower than previous episode because I intentionally controlled the voting power to 5 votes per day per category. So I hope that visitors will cast their votes wisely. I know its really hard to vote coz each and everyone of them are all talented and really worthy to be on the spot. It runs down to popularity eh?

How's Your Christmas, peeps?

how's your Christmas, kids? Mine was...hmmm...okay, I guess. Me and my kids with my hubby went to the house of my sister-in-law's mother-in-law(hope I used the right term here). The house is huge! I mean I totally loved the exterior and the interior...its more like a rest house than a house really. Because its so far from the city and the look is resthousey. lol

This year I was kinda in a generous mode when I hand out small Christmas gifts to all my cousins and their parents. I have a total of 12 cousins on my mother side and all of them received something from me, I even gave out Hamon de Bola to their parents too. For an unemployed me, I actually managed to be generous huh? lol Well, I am just very thankful for the blessings I received this year that I want to share.

What else? Oh, I updated my fics in Triond...but knowing Triond they had to check it before accepting the article/post. I am actually happy that my visitors/readers are totally growing since I can view the people dropping by to read my posts daily. Of course its like a roller coaster since there are days that only few drop by to read and what's really amazing that I've been in Triond for more than a year and haven't been active until last week of November and received my first payment on the 10th of Dec. Cool huh?

Currently I only have 3 ongoing fics in Triond. A DaraGon fic (Confession of An Ex Stalker Fan), DaraTOP (Jcks vs Barbie Dolls)fic, and EunHye-HyunJoong(Oops!) starrer. So if you have time please do click the widget on the side to go directly to the fics I mentioned.

First of all I would like to thank all my affies and friends for the gifts you sent. ^^ I've been away from the net for 3 or 4 days and yup, I'm still alive--thank you very much. lol I missed chatting with friends. I also have pending requests to finish as well as my sorta "paying job" to complete too. Anyway, I will make this update as short as possible coz I don't have anything to tell actually...the supposed vacation I had with my kids was totally "blur"--meaning I don't remember much except I nag while my kids were playing like they just escape from prison. lol This would be my first and hopefully last vacation with these boys or unless they're both in their teens.

MY FIRST CHRISTMAS LAYOUT!

Last week I chatted with Chazz and told her I was planning to change my layout...We were thinking the same celebrity to feature (that would be secret for now)...knowing me being a pervy webmommy I was thinking of having another sexy layout...but it all change when she reminded me that my layout should be in a Christmas mood...I think she actually have idea what's running inside my head. So I decided to feature it in January (that is if I won't change my mind).

This is my very first Christmas layout and what do you think? Happy, festive, chirpy theme is definitely not my forte. So I hope my layout doesn't look so forced or trying hard. ^^

Christmas season is starting to make me busy and I don't think I can handle the contest efficiently. Unlike the first and 2nd week of FP Show Nominations...I think I have to extend one more day to accept nominations. I will spend this day sending out invites to Winglin, Fanfictional, & to other Fanfic sites...Yeah, I didn't advertise this round as much I did with the first 2 rounds. Anyway, I sent out to all my affies and only less than 5 of them responded. I think Webmissis should take a part in this contest to show their appreciation to their staffs.

Philippine National Day of Mourning

Yesterday our (dwarf) President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo declared Philippines National Day of Mourning for the death of 57(and counting ) people in Maguindanao. I don't know if you all heard it or watch in the news that there were journalists, innocent civilians, aside from the family of Mangadadatu.

As of this morning, in the news that they caught the suspected cafgus who were said to be responsible for the massacre. But even so I still think that the investigation is TURTLE slow, yeah, why? Because as I've said, our dwarf President is freaking afraid of the Ampapatuans which is the suspect for the massacre. This is the town where she got the most votes due to the "barbaric" manipulation of the Ampatuans. Would you believe that the administration's senatorial candidates then got ALL votes while other candidates got ZERO?

Seriously?!

I'm pretty sure all of these will just be forgotten in a week or two...there would just be a white wash just like any other crimes in the past.

I call Filipinos "Dory", the fish in Finding Nemo who have a short term memory loss. Like that fish, Filipinos just forgets everything in due time. Politicians can easily manipulate people with empty promises knowing that those people will forget everything.

Just like when American Daniel Smith was convicted with rape by Suzette Nicolas (she's from this city, by the way). People here in our city weren't supporting her claims, because many knows what kind of person she really is. I mean, at first glance of the accused, you would wonder if there really was rape happened. He is freaking good looking and with her said image, it was most likely that she threw herself at him.

To cut the long story short, he was sentenced and was jailed in US Embassy that was 2006. That's not the end of the story.

Early this year, Smith was acquitted and Nicolas admitted that there wasn't any rape that happened after she thought about the whole thing! She said that Smith should be acquitted.

SEE?

I was right all along! And she was just a bitter and sour-graping girl who might have been expecting Smith to marry her, and when he didn't she cried rape.

So where is the girl now, you might ask? Last thing I heard was she married her American boyfriend and now in the U.S.

Come on! If you've been raped by an American wouldn't you be more or less traumatized meeting the same race as the one who supposed to have raped you...or be living in the country where there are many guys who looks and talks like Daniel Smith?

lol. I haven't updating this site since last Saturday because I was busy registering those PTC (Pay-To-Click) program. Then I also posted the two-shots( or maybe it will turn out to be a short story) of Park Hyo Shin requested by my twinnie. So as of the moment I already have 4 ongoing fics.

Apart from updating the fics above I also have pending Graphic and Review requests to finish since I am connected to Summer Prists, Lost Shadows, & AAC. Aside from this site I also have my personal blog (I haven't updated it for centuries lol), online video showcasing selected K-Dramas which is dDrama Freak(oh, I see visitors are slowly growing, but only Shinhye left a taggie lol), then a forum site I putted up for Winglin writers--Feisty Princess Fanfiction Journal, last Saturday I opened another site with the site name JUST GREAT! I've been planning to put the practical How-To's. ^^

I am quite busy huh? And yeah obviously I spent the whole day facing the pc while my kids are playing beside me. I like my present set-up, doing things I like, sleep or take a nap during afternoon with my kids and all...I can't do all these things if my hubby is here with me. lol Coz I started having this so-called lifestyle when he assigned to a small province 4 hours bus away from us. I don't have to do some "wifely" duty since my husband isn't around. So it's purely "mother" role I am doing now--well, they are already 4 and a half and 2 and a half so they don't need that constant watching unlike with babies.

Oh, my! This entry is already a novel long and my head kinda hurts...haish! I'm still in my water therapy week.

Oh, the partial total votes is really WOW! It sure surpassed the record of the 1st Week Search and its just 3 voting days. Thank you! I'm sure the nominees are very thankful for you voting for them. In the Best Requesting Site category, Azin is leading only 1 point to Lost Shadows! These two sites ate up most of the total votes they have 401 and 400 votes respectively. Then the 3rd is the new comer VST with 85 votes.

Love Installed is still leading with 74 votes, following closely by Mr. Geek with 68 votes, then with 1 vote less with 67 is Sexy Men.

I changed FP Show's banner and maybe you can put it in your site too as advertisement. Currently the Top 3 sites are the same winners of the 1st week, Azin Production, Lost Shadows, & I-Deas. As I've said anything can happen, besides today's the 2nd day, we have till next Weds to know the real winners. So to the staffs of the nominated sites, requesters, and supporters, roll up your sleeves and vote for the requesting sites you want to win.

In the Fanfic category the leading is still Love Installed by Anna Sungmin(I hope I'm right on this one), followed by Sexy Men, & Labyrinth. Readers and commenters of the the fics nominated should also show their support for their favorite fics.

Yesterday I sent in the notifications to all the fanfic nominees I hope they will be able to advertise their fic so their readers and supporters can vote for their stories. Yeah, I'm hoping that Winglin won't be a pain in the ass for being down and crappy. I did tell the authors that they have the option to transfer their stories to the Fanfic Site I opened so it wouldn't disrupt, I'm pretty sure that advertising their fic means new readers. It depends on them anyway if they want to. What else? Oh, as of yesterday FPFJ has 13 registered users (excluding myself) and I emailed my readers from Soompi and Winglin about my fics in the new "home". I hope the writers who posted their fics in FPFJ will do as well, so the fanfic site will grow.

What else? Oh You're Beautiful Episode 12 is already posted in dDrama Freak. Check it out okay? ^^

Oh, I am happy to inform that the "ad"(below Plurk) has been clicked 4 times. The revenue is so small, just cents, but isn't everything starts small? Well, I hope that you, guys continue to "click" it, its just a small "support" from your end to mine to keep this going. Yeah, my dad decided to "tighten our belts" meaning cutting cost, due to economic crisis.

We were told not to use "aircon" unless there's a guest sleeping in our room.

Yesterday FPFJ has 6 new registered users! Wheee!!! Anyway, ~~I just want to tell you that after you register I will have to activate your account for you to get in.~~ I changed it to after registration you can go and post ASAP. I woke up--to be exact, my son woke me up at 520 in the morning to prepare him milk, and instead of walking back to our room and continue sleeping he turned on the television and watched Nick channel. UGH! I was darn sleepy, but I don't want to leave him alone in the living room--he's only 2 and a half years old by the way. So what I did was lying on the sofa. Cholo, on the other hand, woke up an hour later excitedly bringing out with him the toys I bought for him and Derek. That's my life as a mother outside the net, people.

As of this morning FP received 6 fics and 1 site recommendations! Woot! Woot! I think I only advertise few minutes e days ago and I never went to Winglin. But anyway, I will add those nominations to the list. I will close the nominations this Saturday and again, there will be 3 Black Days, afterward Voting Days will follow.

Chazz and I are discussing(still chatting by the way) about adding a new Category in the contest... drum roll please! TOP 5 BEST FANFIC TRAILERS. Okay, I think on this category there should only be 1 Fanfic Trailer per Person.

Only Top 5 will be included in the Show and the Winner's video will be featured on the ending Show just like when a show ends a Music Video is being played. Isn't it great?

Okay, I think I deserve a pat on my head for I successfully finished the video for 2 days (yesterday and today)...I was literally biting my nails while the moviemaker was saving my project coz we both know how "loony" my moviemaker is...

while doing the trial and error for this layout. sexy huh?

Oh before I forget, Congrats to all the winners ...it's really a tight competition between the 1st placer and 2nd...Labyrinth is 2 votes behind Love Installed. See? How important 1 or 2 votes are?

Our work isn't done yet. I am doing the 2nd part of the video while ~~Chazz is making a poster for the winner~~ DONE. There are many things to be done and I hope that both me and Chazz can do it, fast. ^^

I don't want to end this entry without showing off what my twinnie sent me...

It's Jaebum keychain plus wallet size picture! I was really really really happy(no words can describe) when I opened it and my hands were shaking. And when I finally took it out, my eyes almost jumped out from its socket. I mean, seriously?! Everybody knows how I love cellphone accessories...Ummm...I have 4 accessories on my phone now....lol

I guess this is it for now coz I will be going to town. Thanks to everyone who participated on this project and this don't end here. This is just a start.

Today is holiday here in the Philippines so no school! Duh?! The typhoon Santi thank God didn't drop by here in our area just like the 2 major typhoons that struck in the Luzon area. I am so happy that the project is going smoothly. Entries are coming in daily and I'm pretty sure that many of them are eager to vote for their fave stories and sites. Anyway, I think I have to cut down the nomination week from 7 days to 4 days...the 3 remaining days is said to be the BLACK days or no nominations nor voting...since this will be giving everybody a chance to read the stories on the list.

Chazz started reading some of the fics and I haven't...so I'm pretty sure that many of you haven't read the stories of the other contenders. Maybe you just nominated 1 story and maybe you can vote the 9 from the fics you haven't read yet--but love it, I don't think I'm making a sense here.lol.

Hi there! I already posted the 1st released of nominees for the competition and I'm pretty sure you noticed that there are more Story nominees than Sites, huh? I think the webmissies are embarrassed to nominate their own sites lol. Well, I hope the staff will do it right? ^^

I chatted with my twinnie yesterday and I told her to send in entries for the fics she thinks deserved to be on the list, she said she's reads majority of my fics and yeah she can't be biased. lol I'm sure my stories aren't the only fics she's reading in Winglin and in Soompi.

WEEKLY FANFIC TOP 10
We will accept as many fanfics as possible, but the first 10 will be included in our first episode.
there will be no ranking on the first episode, just to introduce the contenders..
and then, you have ONE WEEK to vote for your favourite fanfics do that it will be at no#1 spot next week.

After a week, in the second episode, the fanfic will be introduced based on rankings.. (just like music charts) and no#1 winner will have its first winner's seal on their poster (maybe u can put an example of a poster WITH the winner's seal)

And then, at the end of the show, one more new fanfic will be introduced to the chart..so people can vote for it too, and of course to keep voting for your fave fanfic to stay at no#1 place.

in the next week, fan fic wil the lowest vote will be pull out of the chart, and new fanfic will be introduced..

the process will go on and on until we have our special AWARD SHOW to announce the winner of other categories such as MOST LOVED, BEST AUTHOR, JUDGES CHOICE, etc...

Well, this would be an uber short update from me after I posted a long entry yesterday. ^^ Hope you read it.

First I would like to thank my sweet staff(their FP's affies too) for replying to my emails last night. Most of them sent in their support by advertising it in their own sites.

Dorkistic Design & Feisty Princess 1st Joint Project

Chazz suggested that FP will have a SHOW that will be showcasing the BEST Sites and Stories in the Fanfic Community and I totally love it. Writers deserve to be winning something on the stories they write, right? After they put in their time and effort (I’m talking through experience) but they either don’t have much readers or they don’t receive comments.

So on this Project, we can say how readers love the stories through Recommendation and voting for it.

Aside from the stories included on the TOP 10 there would be Major Winners they are:

Best Story of the Week—the result will be based on the total number of votes plus judges’ votes.

Most Loved Story – highest number of reader’s votes.

Best Author – FP staffs will vote on this one.

So what are the prizes for the Winners then, you ask?

FANFIC WINNER will enjoy the following:

FANFIC ADVERTISEMENT not only from this site but to Mother of all sites DORKISTIC DESIGNS, and preferably on some of our Sweet Affiliates.

WINNER's SEAL on their Story's Poster

Author’s name included in the Hall of Fame award on the Year End Feisty Princess.

On the 10 Best Sites, I also know that there are many Requesting Sites that aren’t that busy too (like FP lol) and trust me, many of them have the qualities to be swamped by visitors—awesome layout, cool staffs, & others.

Okay this would be one short update. First I would like to tell everybody that FREEBIES are available now. Hi! I've been quiet these past few days. I know that this site is still a newbie and can't help myself from getting guilty for recruiting the best designers when this site is moving oh so slowly. hmmm...I think its because I don't advertise much...bad webmommy I know! But whenever I go to Winglin and about to advertise the Story's Comment Page is already full of advertisements from other sites and being a writer myself I get to sympathize the author for having her page full of advertisements and not comments from readers.

Anyway, FP is still in the stage of finding its own unique concept over other Requesting sites. I'm just so glad that I have Chazz and other friends who are willing to lend a hand for FP's upcoming projects.

What else? I would like to officially welcome my talented staffs.

This is the 7th day of Feisty Princess and there's no request pouring in yet, I am not surprise actually. Well, aside from there are too many requesting sites around FP doesn't have an advertiser, I think I just visited twice in Winglin and sent out invitations to the writers. Yeah, I am pretty busy with things, too, you know. ^^ I am looking for translator for my fics, all my stories are in English so I'm trying to translate them to Filipino or maybe hoping to find one who can translate it for me. I also have 3 ongoing fics, the Diary Ex Stalker Fan (Jiyong-Ara fic), Operation Makeover (EunHye-BigBang), and the latest Along Came Yoochun(GaHee-Yoochun)...my other fics are in hiatus. So, yeah!

I watched the Dance Battle and I am really, really proud of GaHee for pulling off the matrix move in the free dance of Again & Again...though I kinda disappointed to the girls for not giving their best(JooYoung & UEE) but the rest are okay. But dang! They look so hot, tall and sexy...how I wish I can have that body. hihi!

I guess this is it for now and yeah, thanks to some of my affies for relinking back and also to those who gladly linked us. ^^

Just as I've said, I didn't make a Staff Application for Reviewer and Graphic Designer coz I've spent days looking around and sending out emails to just a few number of "prospects" and they are:

Kyn who was with Feisty Princess before and among the staffs I only took her in, she's the one running Season of Mists along with Pararae, so I'm pretty sure that they are the people you want your story be reviewed, not to forget Darkess who may be young but she's a good reviewer too since she works from other sites as well.

My designers' are also recruited by me(of course) most of them have their own sites so I'm pretty sure about how good their works are. For starters there's Bobolious, & Purplexazn95...there are other who just promised to join when they're not busy.

Last but not the least...drum roll please! Feisty Princess wouldn't be complete without CHAZZIE she's the one who encouraged me to re-open the site and even though she's busy with other stuffs from other sites, she still accepted the position as Techie Support and a part-time Graphic Designer.
